Nautilus to introduce new commercial TreadClimber

Nautilus will be launching its innovative new Commercial Series TreadClimber at Leisure Industry Week 2006.

Referred to by the company as the next generation of cardio equipment, the TreadClimber TC916 has a unique dual-motion design created to combine the ease of walking with the cv workout of running and stepping - two machines in one.

Easy to learn and - with just three programme buttons - simple to operate, it has two small treadmill-like devices called 'treadles' instead of one large treadbelt. Users can make dynamic changes to their workouts by increasing or decreasing the movement of the treadles and varying their speed up to 4mph/6kph, producing a safe and effective low-impact workout for all fitness levels.

Six additional programmes are included to offer members a wide variety of workouts.

Further features include an integrated contact heart rate monitor so users can assess exercise intensity and progress, together with a water bottle and reading rack.

The TC916 also takes up less space than a traditional treadmill, so more machines can be fitted into the same space.
